Miami the sleepy sister of  Neighbouring suburbs Burleigh Heads and Mermaid Beach.

Throughout the last 5 years Miami has seen a lot of building activity with the old beach shacks making way for new homes and duplexes. Real estate prices in Miami vary considerably depending on the location. You can buy an original beach shack on the western side of the Gold Coast Hwy for under $500,000 or a two bedroom unit for under $300,000, if it's the beach you desire and you want to live close you will have to pay clost to $1,000,000 or above for a free standing house or $350,000 for an apartment.

Miami's most desirable streets are Brakes Cresent and Marine Parade with properties in these locations having commanded prices upto $5,000,000.

Miami has several shopping centres spread over the suburb with the largest being (Miami One) which has a Coles supermarket, specialty shops, post office, restaurants ANZ bank and best our office THE Real Estate.

Miami offers plenty of attractions including one of the best beaches on the Gold Coast, beautiful parklands walking and riding trails, 18 hole golf course and club, Miami tavern, olympic pool (home pool of Grant Hacket) and much more.
